IPL is a light-based treatment for pigmentation and redness
IPL is a light-based treatment for pigmentation and redness
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), delivered using the Alma Harmony IRIS DYE-VL applicator, is designed to target unwanted pigmentation and visible redness within the skin. It works by delivering controlled pulses of light to areas of excess colour, while leaving surrounding tissue unaffected.
IPL is commonly used to support concerns such as sun damage, age spots, redness and uneven skin tone. Treatment can feel warm or uncomfortable at times, and temporary redness or darkening of pigment may occur before the skin clears.
Results develop gradually over a course of treatments, with suitability and treatment planning discussed during consultation.
