Why is it called the lunchtime face lift?
Because you can genuinely have the treatment in your lunch break and return to work immediately afterwards — there is no redness, no peeling, and no visible sign that you have had a laser treatment. The name comes from the combination of zero downtime and the collagen-stimulating, lifting results it delivers over time.
Is ClearLift the same as a regular laser?
No — ClearLift uses a fractional Q-Switch ND:YAG laser that targets the dermis beneath the skin without disturbing the surface. This is what makes it so different to ablative lasers like SupErb, which resurface the outer layer of skin and require downtime. ClearLift works invisibly from the inside out.
Can ClearLift be used around the eyes?
Yes — ClearLift is one of the few laser treatments that can safely treat the delicate under-eye area, making it particularly effective for dark circles and fine lines in this zone.
How many sessions do I need?
Most clients have a course of sessions, the exact number confirmed at consultation. Results build progressively — the full effect is typically most visible several weeks after the final session as collagen continues to remodel.
Does it hurt?
Most clients find ClearLift very comfortable — there is a mild warming or tingling sensation during treatment but no significant discomfort. No anaesthetic is required.
Can I have ClearLift if I have a tan?
Active tans and recent sun exposure can affect suitability and settings for some laser treatments. We generally advise avoiding sun exposure for 2–4 weeks before treatment. This will be assessed at your consultation and patch test.
