Is ClearLift Pro painful?
Most patients describe the sensation as gentle warmth or tingling. Anaesthetic is not usually required.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. Some patients experience mild redness or warmth, which typically settles within a few hours, allowing most to return to normal activities.
How soon will I see results and how long do they last?
Some patients notice early improvements, with results continuing to develop over several weeks. Results can be maintained with ongoing care and protection.
What happens at the consultation?
Your consultation includes a detailed discussion of your skin concerns, goals and medical history. We then use the Alma IQ skin analysis system to support personalised treatment planning and help recommend the most suitable laser treatment or combination of treatments.
Can ClearSkin Pro be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Where appropriate, ClearSkin Pro can be combined with other Alma Harmony treatments as part of a personalised plan.
How many treatments will I need?
A course of 3 treatments is usually recommended for optimal results. This will be discussed during your consultation as your plan will be tailored to you.
What aftercare is required?
You will be given personalised aftercare guidance, which generally includes avoiding direct sun exposure and using gentle, soothing skincare in the first 24–48 hours.
Has ClearLift Pro replaced Harmony XL Pro treatments?
ClearLift Pro is a new generation non-ablative laser treatment delivered using the Alma Harmony platform. It is the most recent ClearLift treatment used within the Harmony system and differs from older Harmony XL Pro ClearLift treatments offered. ClearLift Pro is designed for targeted collagen stimulation beneath the skin, and your practitioner will advise whether it is appropriate for your skin concerns.
What's the difference between this and other Alma Harmony treatments you offer?
Alma Harmony is a multi-application laser platform that supports a range of treatments designed to address different skin concerns. Each treatment uses a specific applicator and settings depending on the concern being treated.
At Smooth Dimensions, we offer several Alma Harmony treatments, including ClearLift Pro, SuperB, IPL, IRIS Acne, BioBoost and Alma IQ. Each treatment is designed for a different purpose – for example, collagen stimulation, pigmentation, acne, skin quality or skin analysis.

What is Bio-Boost?
Bio-Boost is a personalised treatment approach using the Alma Harmony platform, where multiple laser technologies can be combined within a single session to address different skin concerns at the same time. Each laser targets a specific layer of the skin or concern, such as skin quality, firmness, pigmentation, redness or texture.
Bio-Boost treatments are planned on an individual basis following consultation and may combine treatments such as ClearLift Pro, ClearSkin Pro, IPL or IRIS, depending on your skin needs. This approach allows for a more comprehensive treatment plan without additional downtime, with the number of sessions tailored to your skin and goals.
What’s the difference between ClearLift Pro and other laser treatments?
ClearLift Pro is a non-ablative laser treatment designed to stimulate collagen beneath the skin without damaging the skin’s surface. Other laser treatments may target different concerns such as pigmentation, redness, acne or skin resurfacing, and may work at different skin depths or involve varying levels of downtime. Your practitioner will advise which laser treatment is most appropriate based on your skin concerns and treatment goals.
