About
HArmonyCa®

Restore volume and stimulate collagen with HArmonyCa®

HArmonyCa® is an innovative dual-action injectable that combines hyaluronic acid (HA) with calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA), offering both instant volumisation and long-term skin rejuvenation. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that focus solely on volume, HArmonyCa® enhances facial definition while stimulating natural collagen production, improving skin texture and elasticity over time. This hybrid injectable is ideal for those looking to restore mid-face volume, contour the jawline, and achieve a natural-looking lift with results that continue to improve long after treatment. Whether you're seeking a subtle refresh or enhanced facial structure, HArmonyCa® delivers a long-lasting, rejuvenated appearance.

At Smooth Dimensions, our Advanced Aesthetic Nurse, Fiona Mahandru, is trained and highly skilled in administering HArmonyCa®. With a focus on achieving natural results, Fiona will assess your facial structure and create a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your goals.

Treatment FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Is there any downtime?

There is little to no downtime. Most patients resume normal activities immediately, although it's advised to avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. You may experience some swelling, redness, and bruising at the injection sites, which typically subside within a few days.

What makes HArmonyCa® different from traditional fillers?

HArmonyCa® combines hyaluronic acid for immediate volume with calcium hydroxyapatite to stimulate collagen, offering both instant and long-term skin rejuvenation.

How long do the results last?

Results typically last 12 months or more, as collagen production continues to improve skin texture and structure over time.

Who is the ideal candidate for HArmonyCa®?

Those looking to restore facial volume, enhance definition, and improve skin quality without the need for frequent top-ups.

Is the treatment painful?

Most patients experience minimal discomfort, as the procedure is performed with fine needles and can include numbing agents.

How soon will I see results?

You will notice immediate volumisation, with further improvements developing over the following months as collagen production increases.

Can HArmonyCa® be combined with other treatments?

Yes, it can complement other dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, and skin boosters for comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

How many treatments will I need?

Most patients achieve optimal results with one session, but touch-ups may be recommended based on individual needs.

Is there anything I need to do before my treatment?

To minimise bruising, swelling, and complications, avoid the following before your appointment:

7 days before treatment:

  • Ibuprofen, naproxen, and other NSAIDs.
  • Alcohol – increases the risk of bruising and swelling.
  • Omega-3 & vitamin E  – can thin the blood and increase bruising.
  • Herbal supplements, especially Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and Ginseng – increases the risk of bruising.

24 to 48 hours before treatment:

  • Caffeine – can increase sensitivity and bruising risk.
  • Intense exercise – can increase blood flow and worsen swelling or bruising.

On the day of treatment:

  • Arrive makeup-free if possible.
  • Stay hydrated and eat a light meal to prevent feeling lightheaded.
  • Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine.

If you are prone to bruising, Arnica supplements may help when taken a few days before treatment.
