Introduction
Sunekos Treatment in Essex
Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with a specific blend of amino acids to support collagen and elastin production and improve overall skin quality.
Treatment Overview
What Is Sunekos?
Sunekos is an injectable treatment containing hyaluronic acid and amino acids. These ingredients are used to support the extracellular matrix, the network of proteins and other substances that gives the skin structure and resilience.
The treatment is designed to encourage the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen helps provide strength and support, while elastin allows the skin to stretch and return to its original shape.

How it works
Sunekos for the Under-Eye Area
Sunekos can be used beneath the eyes, where the skin is naturally thin and often shows early signs of ageing. Treatment may help improve hydration, fine lines, crepey texture and overall skin quality around the eyes.
It does not replace lost volume in the same way as tear trough filler and will not remove prominent eye bags. Your practitioner will assess the area and explain whether Sunekos is appropriate for your concerns.
How Is Sunekos Different from Other Skin Boosters?
Restylane Skinboosters use stabilised hyaluronic acid microinjections to improve hydration, smoothness and skin texture. Sunekos also contains hyaluronic acid, but combines it with amino acids intended to support collagen, elastin and the extracellular matrix. This gives Sunekos a stronger focus on skin bio-regeneration as well as hydration. Neither treatment is universally better. The most suitable option depends on your skin, treatment area and goals.
How Can Sunekos Improve Skin Quality?
Sunekos may help improve:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Dry or dehydrated skin
Thin or crepey skin
Reduced firmness and elasticity
Dull or tired-looking skin
Uneven skin texture
Results develop progressively as the skin responds to the treatment course. The aim is to support skin health and quality without significantly changing your natural facial features.
Consultation
Your Sunekos Consultation
Your consultation will include a review of your medical history, medication, previous treatments and current skin concerns. Your practitioner will assess your skin and explain the recommended treatment areas, likely benefits, limitations, potential side effects and treatment course.
There is no pressure to proceed if you are unsure.

The Treatment Process
What happens during treatment?
The skin will be cleaned before Sunekos is administered using a series of small injections.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or small raised bumps may occur. These effects usually settle, although swelling around the eyes may remain visible for longer. Appointments take approximately 30 minutes, and you will receive personalised aftercare advice before leaving the clinic.

When will I see results?
Sunekos results develop gradually as the treatment course supports collagen and elastin production.
Smooth Dimensions usually recommends three to four sessions, spaced approximately seven to fourteen days apart. In some cases, up to three weeks may be left between appointments. A maintenance treatment may then be recommended every six to nine months, depending on your skin, response and treatment goals.
