Introduction

Hydrafacial Syndeo in Essex

Dullness, dehydration and congestion can leave skin looking less fresh and feeling uneven.

Hydrafacial Syndeo combines exfoliation, pore cleansing and hydration in one facial treatment. It is designed to improve the appearance and feel of your skin, with options to personalise the treatment around your concerns.

At Smooth Dimensions, we assess your skin and discuss your goals before recommending the most suitable approach.

Treatment Overview

What Is Hydrafacial Syndeo?

Hydrafacial is a professional facial treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, removes impurities and delivers hydrating serums.

Syndeo is the latest Hydrafacial model. It combines the brand’s Vortex-Fusion technology with a digital system that supports treatment personalisation. Treatment history and preferences can be recorded to help guide future appointments.

Different treatment tips, solutions and targeted boosters allow your practitioner to adjust the facial to your skin’s needs.

How it works

How Does Hydrafacial Cleanse and Hydrate the Skin?

Hydrafacial uses a handheld applicator with a spiral-shaped tip. Its Vortex-Fusion system combines suction with a flow of treatment solutions.

The tip exfoliates the skin’s surface. Suction helps lift away loosened debris and impurities, while solutions cleanse and hydrate the skin.

A peel solution may also be used as part of the treatment. Hydrating serums are then applied through the device to leave the skin feeling refreshed.

What Can Hydrafacial Help Improve?

Depending on your skin and the treatment options selected, Hydrafacial can help improve:

Dull or tired-looking skin

Dehydration

Congested pores and blackheads

Excess oil and a shiny complexion

Uneven or rough skin texture

The appearance of fine lines

The aim is fresher, smoother-looking skin. Your practitioner will explain which concerns are suitable for treatment and what changes you can realistically expect.

Consultation

Your Hydrafacial Consultation

Before treatment, we assess your skin and discuss what you would like to improve.

We review your skincare routine, allergies, medication and recent aesthetic treatments. Please also tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as this may affect suitability.

Your practitioner will explain whether Deluxe or Platinum is most appropriate, discuss your treatment goals and select a suitable booster.

The Treatment Process

What Happens During a Hydrafacial?

Your practitioner will explain each stage before starting. The treatment follows a sequence of skin preparation, exfoliation, extraction and hydration.

Platinum also includes lymphatic drainage at the beginning of the treatment.

1

We discuss your concerns, check suitability and agree on your treatment plan.

2

Your skin is cleansed and exfoliated to remove surface build-up. A suitable peel solution helps prepare the skin for extraction.

3

The handpiece uses gentle suction to remove loosened impurities. Hydrating serums and your selected booster are delivered to the skin.

4

LED light therapy is used to support your treatment goals. Your practitioner then completes the treatment and explains how to care for your skin.

When Will I See Results?

You may notice smoother-feeling skin and a fresher appearance after your first Hydrafacial. Improved hydration leaves the skin looking more radiant.

Results vary with your starting skin condition and the treatment selected.

Regular appointments may be recommended for ongoing maintenance, rather than expecting one facial to provide a permanent change.

Both treatments include the core Hydrafacial process, a targeted booster serum and LED light therapy.

Platinum also includes lymphatic drainage at the start of the treatment to help reduce facial puffiness.

Platinum has a longer appointment time and is the more comprehensive option.

At Smooth Dimensions, we offer two Hydrafacial Syndeo treatment options:

  • Hydrafacial Syndeo Platinum: £200

Hydrafacial memberships are also available for regular treatments.

Our Deluxe Hydrafacial includes 45 minutes of hands-on treatment, with a total appointment time of 60 minutes.

Our Platinum Hydrafacial includes 60 minutes of hands-on treatment, with a total appointment time of 75 minutes.

Improved hydration and smoother-feeling skin may last around five to seven days, sometimes longer.

Your skincare routine, starting skin condition and treatment choices will influence how your skin looks and feels afterwards.

Hydrafacial generally recommends monthly treatments for ongoing maintenance.

Your practitioner can recommend a suitable interval based on your skin and treatment goals.

Many people return to their usual activities after treatment.

However, temporary redness, tightness or irritation can occur. These effects usually settle within a few days, depending on your skin’s sensitivity.

Some sensitive skin can be treated using adjusted suction and carefully selected products.

However, active inflammation, sunburn, broken skin or infection may mean treatment should be postponed. Your practitioner will assess this first.

Follow the advice given for your treatment and use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.

Ask your practitioner when to resume exfoliating acids, retinoids and other active skincare products.
