Introduction

Laser Skin Rejuvenation Essex

Alma Harmony BioBoost is designed for patients experiencing several overlapping skin concerns, such as dullness, uneven tone, rough texture, fine lines, sun damage and reduced firmness. Rather than treating one isolated concern, BioBoost creates a personalised combination treatment selected according to your skin and the improvements you would like to achieve.

Treatment Overview

What is Alma Harmony BioBoost?

BioBoost is a skin rejuvenation protocol that can be used to boost collagen and elastin production. It is delivered using suitable technologies from the Alma Harmony platform. It is not a separate laser applicator or one fixed treatment performed in exactly the same way for every patient.

Your practitioner may combine appropriate laser and IPL technologies to work at different levels within the skin. This allows the treatment to address several concerns within a structured skin-rejuvenation programme.

BioBoost is designed to support skin renewal, collagen and elastin production, hydration and overall skin quality. The aim is a smoother, brighter and a more refreshed appearance.

How it works

How is your BioBoost treatment selected?

A consultation, skin analysis and patch test are required before your first treatment.

Your practitioner will assess your skin tone, texture, pigmentation, redness, firmness and general skin quality. The BioBoost technologies and treatment settings will then be selected according to your individual concerns.

The required laser consultation, skin analysis and patch test costs £50 and is fully redeemable against treatment.

What can Laser Skin Rejuvenation help improve?

Depending on your skin analysis and personalised treatment plan, BioBoost may help improve:

Overall skin quality and radiance

Dull or tired-looking skin

Uneven skin tone

Fine lines

Reduced firmness and elasticity

Rough or uneven texture

BioBoost may be particularly suitable when several of these concerns are present together. More isolated concerns may be better treated through a dedicated pigmentation, redness, acne, resurfacing or skin-tightening programme.

The Treatment Process

What happens during treatment?

Your skin will be cleansed before the selected Alma Harmony applicators are used across the treatment area.

The experience will depend on the technologies included in your BioBoost protocol. You may notice warmth, tingling or a light snapping sensation. Your practitioner will explain what to expect from each stage of treatment.

Temporary redness, warmth, sensitivity or darkening of visible pigmentation may occur. Downtime will vary according to the technologies and treatment settings used.

You will receive personalised aftercare advice, including guidance on skincare, sun exposure and daily broad-spectrum SPF.

1

We discuss your concerns, review your medical history and assess your skin type, texture and treatment suitability.

2

We agree the areas to treat, explain the treatment approach and take photos for your treatment record.

3

The skin is cleansed and protective eyewear is provided before laser energy is carefully applied to the treatment area.

4

You’ll receive personalised aftercare guidance before leaving the clinic.

When will I see results?

Some patients notice that their skin appears fresher and more radiant as it settles after treatment. Improvements in tone, texture, fine lines and firmness develop more gradually as skin renewal and collagen production continue.

An initial course of three treatments, performed approximately once a month, is generally recommended. A fourth treatment may be advised depending on your skin and goals.

After completing the initial course, a single maintenance treatment every six to nine months may be recommended to support collagen production, hydration and overall skin quality.

Laser Skin Rejuvenation FAQs

Have questions before booking? Here are the most common things patients ask about consultations, pricing, results, downtime and suitability.

Laser skin rejuvenation stimulates skin renewal and supports collagen and elastin production. BioBoost may improve several overlapping concerns, including dullness, uneven tone, fine lines, rough texture and reduced firmness.

Suitable patients may experience progressive improvements in skin tone, texture, firmness and radiance. Results vary according to the concerns being treated, the technologies selected and the recommended course.

An initial course of three monthly treatments is generally recommended. Some patients may benefit from a fourth session, followed by maintenance every six to nine months.

The sensation depends on the technologies used. You may experience warmth, tingling or a light snapping sensation.

BioBoost uses selected Alma Harmony laser and IPL technologies to improve several concerns at different levels within the skin.

SkinPen microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled microchannels without laser energy. It may be particularly suitable for concerns such as facial acne scars, neck wrinkles and uneven texture.

BioBoost may improve general firmness and skin quality. When facial laxity, jowls or loss of jawline definition is the main concern, Alma PrimeX radiofrequency skin tightening may be more appropriate.

A course of three BioBoost treatments costs £1,350, while a course of four costs £1,800. The required £50 consultation, skin analysis and patch test is fully redeemable against treatment.

Longevity varies according to your skin, lifestyle, sun exposure and treatment plan. A maintenance treatment every six to nine months may be recommended to support the results.
