Introduction
Cellulite Treatment Essex
Treatment uses Alma PrimeX technology to reduce the visible appearance of cellulite and improve uneven or orange-peel skin texture. Depending on your concerns, a personalised plan may combine radiofrequency, ultrasound and mechanical massage to address several factors that contribute to cellulite.
Treatment Overview
What Causes Cellulite?
Cellulite develops when underlying fat pushes against the connective tissue beneath the skin, creating a dimpled, rippled or uneven appearance.
Its visibility may also be influenced by skin firmness and thickness, ageing and collagen loss, hormonal factors, circulation, genetics, weight changes and the distribution of underlying fat. Cellulite is extremely common and can affect people of different weights, body shapes and fitness levels.

How it works
How Does Alma PrimeX Cellulite Treatment Work?
Alma PrimeX uses complementary technologies to improve the factors contributing to visible cellulite. Ultrasound may be used to target localised fat-cell volume beneath the skin.
Radiofrequency creates controlled heating within the tissue, supporting collagen remodelling and improving skin firmness. The UniBody applicator also provides a rotating mechanical massage, which helps work across the tissue and supports a smoother-looking surface.
Your treatment plan will be selected according to whether your cellulite is associated primarily with uneven texture, reduced skin firmness, localised fat or a combination of concerns.
Which Areas Can Be Treated?
Alma PrimeX cellulite treatment may be suitable for areas including:
Front, back or outer thighs
Inner thighs
Buttocks
Hips
Areas around the upper legs
Other suitable areas following assessment
Cellulite commonly affects the thighs and buttocks, but the pattern and severity vary between patients. Your practitioner will assess the areas you would like to improve before recommending treatment.
Consultation
Consultation and Prices
A £50 consultation is required before your first treatment and is fully redeemable against treatment. Alma PrimeX cellulite treatment courses start from £1,080.
Your practitioner will assess the areas affected by cellulite, recommend the most suitable course and explain the full cost during your consultation.

The Treatment Process
What happens during treatment?
The treatment area will be assessed before the selected Alma PrimeX applicators are moved across the skin.
You may experience warmth, pressure and a massage-like sensation. The treatment intensity will be selected according to the area, your comfort and the concerns being addressed.
PrimeX treatment is non-invasive and usually involves minimal downtime. Temporary redness, warmth or tenderness may occur, but normal daily activities can generally be resumed after the appointment.

When will I see results?
Changes develop gradually during and after the recommended treatment course. The skin may begin to look smoother and more even as treatment progresses, with further improvements developing as collagen remodelling continues.
A course of four or six treatments may be recommended. The number required will depend on the areas being treated, the appearance of the cellulite and your individual response.
Cellulite may become visible again over time due to ageing, hormonal changes, changes in weight or reduced skin firmness. Maintenance treatment may therefore be recommended.
