What is SupErb Laser Resurfacing?
Smooth Dimensions uses the SupErb applicator on the Alma Harmony platform. SupErb is a fractional ablative Er:YAG laser that delivers precise treatment points while leaving surrounding tissue untreated to support recovery.
Alma Harmony uses a 2940 nm Er:YAG laser for ablative resurfacing. It targets the signs of ageing, photodamage, pigmentation and scars.

The Treatment Process
What happens during treatment?
Your practitioner will assess your skin and select the treatment intensity according to your concerns, skin type and tolerance for downtime.
The SupErb applicator creates fractional treatment zones across the selected area. You may experience heat, sensitivity or mild discomfort. EMLA numbing cream can be purchased and applied before treatment to help make the procedure more comfortable.
Afterwards, the skin may look red and feel warm, dry or sensitive. Peeling or light crusting may develop as the skin renews. Downtime is approximately seven to ten days, although this can vary according to the treatment intensity and your individual response.
You will receive personalised aftercare, including advice on cleansing, moisturising, sun exposure and SPF.

When will I see results?
Some improvement may become visible as the initial recovery settles. Further changes develop over the following weeks as the skin renews and collagen remodelling continues.
An initial course of two to four treatments, spaced approximately three to four weeks apart, may be recommended. The exact number will depend on your concerns, treatment intensity and response.
Maintenance treatment every six to twelve months may be advised. Laser resurfacing cannot stop ageing or prevent new sun damage, so skincare and daily sun protection remain important.
