Hyperhidrosis treatment

Using botulinum toxin (botox) to reduce excessive sweating

Excessive sweating can impact many aspects of everyday life, whether it means having to take regular showers throughout the day or reapply antiperspirants and even change clothes multiple times. Excessive sweating can lead to noticeable patches underneath the arms, across the chest, face, back and hands, and can cause great embarrassment for those who suffer with it.

Administering botulinum toxin (Botox) for hyperhidrosis is a proven way to temporarily reduce the amount of sweat secreted in the treated areas. By introducing small, precise amounts of botulinum toxin, we can effectively block the nerves leading to the sweat gland to manage and relieve the issue for a transitory period of time.
